DESIGN IS EVERYWHERE is an event that brings together all the other initiatives; it is a network, a journey highlighting the city’s
ability to propose a creative design culture using two different types of events: DESIGN IN–RETE and HYBRID CULTURES, that take place in several venues and itineraries around the city.

DESIGN IN–RETE: exhibitions, performances and installations involving design sponsored by art galleries, museums, ateliers, showrooms, workshops and schools are all part of the programme.
The network of events is provided on special “ billboards.”

HYBRID CULTURES: Several exhibitions will present international designs by young people. The exhibitions will be held in several Cultural Institutes in Rome and might possibly travel to other locations in the future.

Culture Ibride Hybrid Cultures will exploit a network of locations and itineraries in the city to illustrate how Rome can inspire both design culture and creativity by involving foreign Cultural Institutes and focusing on different expressive media, techniques and languages: exhibitions, seminars, performances will promote the creativity inspired by the cultures of various countries.

Design IN-rete Design IN-rete is a journey amid the creative and design events which from October 5, will take place in Rome. A compass to find one's way among the factors that contribute to building a modern culture of design. And much more: in fact, the event doesn't just passively register and record the events, it wants to be an excuse to contaminate places and forms of design. Every day, several itineraries will invent the most diverse ways to connect artistic and design styles and spaces, displays, performances, exhibitions around and in design held in galleries, museums, ateliers, showrooms, laboratories and schools.

The desire to experiment forms and functions of a material and how it can be used is the idea behind this itinerary. Wood - broken down and recomposed, de-structured enough to make it suitable for the purpose - becomes a functional and functioning  object, with make-up worthy of a star: matter becomes a useful companion of our domestic world.

Presentation of the new works of the artist made of enamel and acrylic on wood. Despite the use of a traditional technique – engraving - the artist exploits modern methods, sometimes using installations, with both sacred and profane contents that are based on his own personality and the need to ferry the recognisability of pure engravings towards a more open artistic state.
